The Process & Services
At Birth Journey Home we offer full antenatal, postnatal care and for up to 4 weeks after giving birth. Please see below the following steps you will take to book private midwifery care.

By simply heading over to ‘Contact Us’ page we can quickly arrange a consultation of £200 in the comfort of your own home via email or phone. If you decide to choose me as your Independent midwife I will deduct the initial consultation fee from the package chosen.

Once you have completed a consultation you can head over to the Booking page at the bottom our website. This page lists all the services and prices we offer at Birth Journey Home. Once you have chosen your desired service a payment can be taken directly from the site.

Once the payment is received for the service you desire. We will contact you over email to arrange a booking time to meet for this service.

All my appointments are 1 to 2 hours per visit in the comfort of your home. This is a stark contrast to NHS appointments, which tend to range between 20-30 minutes. Additional time means there are plenty of scope to ask questions and alleviate any concerns you may have. I also offer flexibility in terms of weekdays or evenings and some weekends which will be mutually agreed upon.
Types of Services
Please note that a private link will be shared via email to complete the booking of your desire after the consultation booking is complete. Consultation Fee and Travel fee will be a standard cost for all bookings made. The areas that are covered are Hertfordshire, North West London, North London, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire and Essex. After a 10 mile radius of (postcode) a fee of 45p per mile will be required for each booking.

This service involves an antenatal check or postnatal check for you and your baby including breastfeeding support tailored to your needs.

This class is a 1-1 preparation class on setting a birth plan.
